A downloadable virtual pet

a tiny little pet for the micro:bit! it can:

  • sleep!
  • eat!
  • be happy or sad!
  • investigate loud noises!

you can put it to sleep by placing it face down or leaving it idle for 30 seconds. if it goes the sleep through the first method, it can be woken up by flipping it back over. if it goes to sleep through the second method, it can only be woken up from loud noises or by shaking it! don't worry, it won't get angry if you shake it awake.

  • press a to feed it!
  • touch the micro:bit logo to pat it! pat it three times to make it happy!
  • shake it if it's asleep, or if you just want to annoy it >:)
  • make a loud noise (eg. clapping) to make it investigate!

Install instructions

to install:

if you don't have a micro:bit, download the .hex file, go to makecode.microbit.org, press import, and select the file. you can then just press play!

if you do have a micro:bit, download the .hex file, plug the micro:bit into your device, open the micro:bit's storage (through your files app), and drag or copy the .hex file into it. after it finishes moving the file into the micro:bit, it will automatically play!
